The mission of Keep Bulloch Beautiful (KBB) is to enhance the beauty of Bulloch County through education, public action and example. Community improvement and beautification is one of KBB’s focus areas. The goal of the Community Beautification Assistance Program is to provide financial assistance to groups and organizations that help carry out KBB’s mission by improving areas in Bulloch County. Grant funds in the amount of $50 – 500 will be made available to approved projects.
Objectives:
To give groups the resources needed to complete beautification projects in Bulloch County
To expand KBB’s ability to meet its mission
To enhance the quality of life in Bulloch County by improving its visual appeal as well as the experiences of residents and visitors
Eligibility:
Any non-profit (501c3) organization, school or public entity
Criteria:
Demonstrate commitment to KBB’s mission
Completion of project will benefit general public
Clearly outlined plans for project completion and long-term sustainability
Plan for maintaining project once complete
Reporting
Recipients will be required to submit receipts showing total cost of project. Reimbursement checks will be sent to the contact address on the application once project is completed.

Proposals are accepted on a monthly basis and must be received by the last day of each month. Proposals will be reviewed by the Keep Bulloch Beautiful Commission during the second week of each month. Applicants will be notified of approval by the end of the month following their application date.
