Children's Water Festival
The Children’s Water Festival is an educational event focused on water science and water conservation that is targeted to fourth grade students. Students will learn about water quality, the water cycle, how they can limit waste and pollution in their daily lives and much more. This 2013 Festival will be held on Friday, March 22. The Festival will be hosted by Keep Bulloch Beautiful and will take place at Georgia Southern University. Every fourth grader in Bulloch County will be invited to attend this educational, hands-on water experience! To volunteer, please contact KBB at 912.764.6147 or email@example.com. The Bulloch County Mobile Environmental Classroom is an 18-wheel tractor trailer that has been converted to an interactive classroom for lower grade children that offers displays and lessons on recycling and protecting the environment. The Mobile Classroom visits schools and/or other groups and allows students or classes to circulate in and out to hear presentations given by KBB staff about recycling, litter prevention, sustainability, and more. The Mobile Classroom will soon undergo changes and updates and will be better than ever for your school! For more information or to schedule a visit to your school, please contact Kelly Collingsworth at 912.764.6147 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
**We are sorry to announce that the Mobile Classroom is currently out of commission and hopes to be back soon. Please stay tuned.**
