Electronics Recycling

Electronic recycling is available at the City Recycle Center, located in downtown Statesboro at the corner of Bulloch and Martin Luther King, Jr. Streets.

 

The center is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

In accordance with Bulloch County Codes, section 8-115, scavenging of electronics and any other recycling or disposal container is absolutely prohibited.

 

Electronics recycled through this program have two fates. Salvageable electronics are repaired and placed in after school programs. Non-salvageable items are scraped into metals, plastics, etc. and their components are recycled.

• Batteries (rechargeable and non-rechargeable)
• Light Bulbs (fluorescent, compact fluorescent & incandescent, must

   be in secure package)
• Cell phones and related items
