Winning Water will be an interactive day of learning for selected 4th grade classes in the Lower Savannah and Ogeechee River Basins. It will be held March 19, 2008 on the campus of Georgia Southern University.
The purpose of the festival is to educate students about ground, drinking, and surface water (watersheds) and water quality in a fun hands-on atmosphere. It will serve as a model for future water festivals in Georgia’s other river basins.
